[Application deadline extended to 7 June 2022] ACU Fellowships 2022-23

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Fellowships are now open for application.

These fellowships support partnerships between ACU member universities, including CUHK. The collaboration should cover a minimum of six months and take place between September 2022 and August 2023. Applicants can choose to either collaborate in-person or online. Each fellowship provides funding of up to GBP5,000.

The following is a list of fellowships that are open for application by academic and/or professional staff at CUHK.

  • For a staff member from an ACU member university outside Canada, including CUHK, to partner with an ACU member university in Canada.

  • Information technology and management
  • STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)

  • University development and management
4. Hong Kong Jockey Club Fellowships – two fellowships are available:

  • For a staff member from an ACU member university in Hong Kong, including CUHK, to partner with an ACU member university outside Hong Kong.
  • For a staff member from an ACU member university outside Hong Kong to partner with an ACU member university in Hong Kong, including CUHK.
5. Information Technology and Computer Science Fellowship
  • Information technology
  • Computer science
6. Swansea Fulton Climate Action Fellowships – two fellowships are available:
The fellowships are open to application by members outside the UK, including CUHK, to partner with a researcher at Swansea University.

In some circumstances, the above fellowships can be used for collaboration between universities and the private sector. For more details, please contact acufellowships@acu.ac.uk.


Application

Interested applicants must first identify and approach a collaborator at an ACU member universities outside Hong Kong. Applicants should register for a MyACU account and log in to the system to access the application form. Application should be submitted with the required information by 7 June, 2022 at 15:00 UTC.
