Showcasing West Kowloon to the world

For the second year in a row, CUHK has teamed up with the Hong Kong Tourism Board to organise virtual tours for international students who were not able to travel to Hong Kong for studies due to the pandemic. Eight CUHK students from various academic disciplines were recruited for the CUHK x HKTB Youth Academy.

Students received training from experienced tour guides and mentors to devise a virtual tour from scratch focusing on the past and new developments in the West Kowloon neighbourhood. They enjoyed the process of developing a tour with their peers and found it very meaningful to showcase the local landmarks to international students.
