Exchange during the pandemic

The pandemic has created many challenges for students who planned to study abroad. Despite the obstacles, some CUHK students managed to take part in the long-awaited exchange after close to two years of disruption.

I really appreciated the opportunity of spending a semester at Copenhagen Business School despite the pandemic and gained immensely from the teaching which has helped me to establish a concrete foundation for future career in the business sector. Denmark has the best fresh foods and dairy products in the world, I enjoyed the baked goods, fresh milk, and flavourful cheese in Denmark.

Due to the serious pandemic situation, I did not have many face-to-face classes at the University of Seoul. Rather, I spent time discovering and exploring the country. Apart from Seoul, I have travelled to a number of cities, each with distinctive characteristics. My four-month time has been very fruitful, and I am sure this will be one of the most memorable experience in my life.

Although I was affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Art at Washington University at St. Louis, I also had an opportunity to take courses from the Olin Business School. It was interesting to meet students from different majors in the same class and learn new thoughts from various cultural backgrounds.

The exchange experience at Washington University at St. Louis has transformed Yuwen’s thinking with a global perspective.
