International Online Case Competition hosted by Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University

International Online Case Competition (IOCC) is a global scale Business Case Competition. This intensive competition enables students around the world to hone their problem-solving and team-working skills, to bring original ideas to solve real-life scenarios, via a simulation. Students can choose from a range of eight different categories of cases in the preliminary round, making IOCC comprehensive and inclusive.

Apart from the competition, numerous Information, Academic, and Networking sessions will be held for students to learn, network, and grow together. Participants must register as a team of four. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome to participate.

APRU Global Health Virtual Case Competition

The Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) is calling for entries to the 2022 APRU Global Health Virtual Case Competition.

This annual competition allows teams of students to devise solution to pressing global health challenges. Participating teams have up to ten weeks to prepare a 10-minute video in English proposing a realistic, well-designed and innovative solution to the challenge. It opens to CUHK students (undergraduates and postgraduates) and the topic for this year will be announced on 25 March 2022. The winning team will be awarded a prize of US$1,000. All participating students will receive a certificate of participation.

Timeline

  • 25 March – Case challenge issued
  • 25 April – Registration deadline
  • 2 June – Final video submissions
  • 1 August – Three finalist teams announced
  • November – Final judging of competition held during an APRU Global Health virtual event

Interested teams should register through APRU online registration system by 25 April 2022, and submit a copy of the registration to the Office of Academic Links (c/o Ms. LAI Ching Yee; chingyee@cuhk.edu.hk  ) for necessary follow-up. European Studies Summer School at LMU Munich

The Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich (LMU Munich) is inviting applications for the European Studies Summer School 2022. The summer school allows students to develop a deep understanding of European history, politics and current crises.

Target Students
  • Students from all disciplines are welcome
  • An interest in the European Union as well as European history and culture
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme
Cost
  • €1,545 including the fees of registration, tuition, housing and a 3-day trip to Vienna
  • A tuition waiver of €100 will be offered to CUHK students
