Application for Report for Teaching Timetable Details |

A report on teaching timetable details lists the details of language of instruction, if available, from the teaching timetable of the courses taken by the students / graduates during their years of attendance. Please refer to this page for the sample of the report. |

|
Fee per first copy per application is HK$150, including postage of local or ordinary air mail, and HK$50 for each subsequent copy in the same application (e.g. if you apply in the same application for 2 copies of report on teaching timetable details, the payment should be HK$200). |

Once the applications have been completed, applicants are not allowed to change or cancel their applications. They should submit the application again if there are any changes in their applications. |

Information on Application for Exceeding Course Load on CUSIS

Please note clause 5.1 - 5.3 of the General Regulations Governing Full-time Undergraduate Studies before submission of the application. |

5.1 |
A student shall take at least 9 units and no more than 18 units of courses in any term within the normative study period, unless s/he is on first or extended academic probation as provided for in Regulation 5.2. A student shall take no more than 6 units of courses in each summer session, and no student shall be allowed to take more than 39 units in an academic year. |

5.2 |
A student on academic probation shall take a maximum of 12 units per term during first probation, and a maximum of 9 units per term during extended probation. |

5.3 |
Notwithstanding Regulation 5.1, under special circumstances a student may be allowed to take fewer than 9 units or more than 18 units in a term, or more than 39 units in an academic year if recommended by his/her Major Programme and approved by the Registrar, in accordance with such conditions as determined by the Senate from time to time. A student who fails to obtain such approval and (a) does not register for courses after the prescribed period may be required to suspend studies or considered to have withdrawn from studies at the University; or (b) register for a total unit of courses exceeding the stipulated maximum shall be required to drop an appropriate number of courses as deemed necessary. |

Please provide special reason(s) for exceeding course load and upload detailed study plan and an unofficial transcript (if applicable) for consideration of your Major Programme. |

The application for exceeding course load CANNOT be cancelled once submitted in the system. Students cannot submit more than one application in the System unless the result is released. Please check the result on your own in CUSIS. No email notification will be sent to students. |

4. |
A maximum of 3 applications (including the first application) can be submitted in a term / Summer Session in the System for consideration of the Major Programme if students' application(s) are not approved. Please approach the Major Programme if there are other special reasons for appeal or further changes after submission of 3 applications. |

System will be open for applications for exceeding term course load in 2nd term 2022-23 according to the following schedule. Late application will NOT be considered.
25 October 2022 (12:00 a.m. HKT) - 2 November 2022 (11:59 p.m. HKT) : for updating term course load for course registration period starting from 14 November 2022 28 December 2022 (12:00 a.m. HKT) - 4 January 2023 (11:59 p.m. HKT) : for updating term course load for course add/drop period starting from 16 January 2023 -
- Online Application for Exceeding Year Course Load of 39 units (for Summer Session Only)
(Students should check their course load under CUSIS before submitting the application.

Information on Application for Late Course Add/Drop on CUSIS
- Students should follow the prescribed procedures and submit the application:
① Approach course teacher for advice ② Submit application on CUSIS under “Late Course Add/Drop (UG)” for consideration of course teacher and the approval of relevant offices/Faculty Dean/Registrar ③ Check application results on CUSIS by clicking on “Check Application Status” under the “Application for Late Course Add/Drop”. No separate e-mail will be issued. ④ Check whether the course enrolment records under CUSIS is updated if approval is given.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you encounter any problems in completing the procedures. - This application on CUSIS is NOT applicable to students of International Asian Studies Programme (IASP) and postgraduate students. Students concerned should contact the Office of Academic Links and Graduate School Office respectively for advice on late course add/drop procedures.
- For students who have to late add/drop postgraduate courses of level 5000 or above, please contact RES to obtain hardcopy application form.
- When submitting application for late add of course, please also input the Related Class (if any) of the course (e.g. tutorial, lab, etc) if the Related Class is a mandatory component. Otherwise, the application cannot be submitted.
- Please state the special reason(s) for late course add/drop and attach supporting document(s) (e.g. medical certificate), if any, in the online application form for consideration of the parties concerned.
- Students MUST click "Submit" to complete the submission of application. An acknowledgement email will be sent to students' campus email account after each submission. If students do not receive the email within ONE day after their submission, please login the system to check the submission records or contact RES immediately.
- Once submitted, the application CANNOT be cancelled.
- Students who committed academic dishonesty may still be disciplined in accordance with related procedures even if they are approved to late drop the course.
