Assistant Biomedical Engineer

The appointee will report duty to the Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited (MRC) with office in the Hong Kong Science Park. MRC is a company under TR at CUHK Company Limited, involves in the R&D and business in surgical robots and the related medical technologies.

Job Description:

•    Support daily operations and maintenance of MRC Lab
•    Support safety compliance management and preparation of standard operation procedures
•    Provide onsite biomedical engineering support to R&D teams during preclinical studies
•    Carry out desktop research on surgical robotics and MedTech
•    Contribute biomedical engineering inputs on regulatory and compliance during R&D meetings

•    Carry out special projects and tasks assigned by superiors

 

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related engineering fields
•    Fresh graduates are welcome
•    Good interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
•    Mature, self-motivated and result-oriented
•    Excellent command of spoken and written English, Putonghua and Cantonese

 

Salary & Benefits:
We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a 1-or 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Business Development Associate

•    Assist the organization of seminars, workshops, and guided tours in MRC laboratory
•    Assist the drafting of presentations, promotional materials, and reports
•    Assist the implementation of business development plan and commercialization plan
•    Support desktop research and market analysis
•    Carry out special projects and tasks assigned by superiors

 

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent disciplines
•    Fresh graduate is welcomed
•    Positive attitude and with great attention to details
•    Self-motivated, proactive and strong problem-solving skills
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills

•    Excellent command of written and spoken Putonghua, English and Cantonese

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

Project Co-ordinator II (Admin & HR)
Job Highlights:
(a)    Handle the Center’s liaison, project administration and secretarial tasks
(b)    Perform HR, finance and procurement management
(c)    At least 2 years’ post-qualification executive experience

Job Descriptions:

(a)    Handle the Center’s liaison, project administration and secretarial tasks; 
(b)    Perform HR functions including recruitment, exit management, performance review, etc;
(c)    Support finance management and procurement procedures;
(d)    Assist in office administration and daily operations;
(e)    Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s).

 

Job Requirements:

(a)    A good Bachelor’s degree; 
(b)    At least 2 years’ post-qualification executive experience; 
(c)    An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); 
(d)    Proficiency in Chinese word-processing and computer applications, such as MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); 
(e)    Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; 
(f)    Strong analytical ability and organisational skills; 
(g)    A strong sense of responsibility and accuracy, attentiveness to details, and the willingness to work hard and learn; 
(h)    Ability to multi-task, work independently and proactively.
