Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area University Online Open Course Construction Conference cum Online Open Course Alliance was established in November 2018 and was jointly initiated by Guangdong universities. It aims to further strengthen cross-regional learning and exchanges in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, set up online learning and teaching resource sharing, and strive to promote the cultivation of talents in universities and build a new teaching ecology for higher education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
Since Alliance establishment, the alliance has 64 university members, providing 1,566 interdisciplinary courses for college students in the Greater Bay Area.
