Supplementary information

Diameter-at-breast-height (DBH) can reached 30cm. Male flowers: pedicels ca. 2 mm, pubescent; calyx ca. 2 mm, lobes triangular, puberulous abaxially; petals spatulate, ca. 1 mm; filaments connate to middle; disk shallowly cup-shaped; rudimentary ovary ovoid-conical. Female flowers 4 – 5 mm in diam.; pedicels ca. 1 mm; calyx as in male flowers; petals obovate, ca. 1 mm; disk urceolate, enclosing the lower part of ovary; ovary ovoid, styles 2, free, ca. 1.5 mm, bifid at the apex, lobes linear.
