The CUHK Mentorship Programme (CUMP) is a mentorship programme developed on the basis of its original platform, Personal Assistant Training Scheme (PATS), established by the University in 2002. In view of the most favorable feedbacks from participating students of PATS, it was decided to enhance the programme in 2011 to benefit more students, and the programme was renamed as CUMP.
All our mentors are experienced professionals/ senior executives who have a desire to help young people by sharing their skills, knowledge and experience, whereas the mentees are non-final year undergraduate students of the University. The programme aims to help our students to broaden their social and personal perspectives, obtain career advice from experienced professionals and build up networks. Under the programme, each selected student would be matched to a mentor for a year, and the mentor and mentee are given the discretion to decide on the format of the mentorship and how relevant activities should be carried out.
We welcome seasoned professionals/ executives from different industries to be mentors under the Programme, sharing their skills, knowledge and experience with our students.
