The SFL Intern Survival Workshop has been well received by 120 medical interns on 20 Jun 2019.

Moderated by our medical alumni, Dr Rutherford SIN (MBChB 2011), Department of Medicine & Geriatrics, Tuen Mun Hospital, the workshop centred around tips and advice on getting prepared to be an intern, and it also introduced ways to develop effective communication with other healthcare practitioners.

Thanks to staunch support of the CUHK Medical Alumni Association (CUHKMAA), a number of medical alumni and guest speakers were invited to share their experience, including Mr Wilson CHIANG, APN, Department of M&T, Prince of Wales Hospital; Dr Hazel WANG (MBChB 2018) and Dr Helen KWAN (MBChB 2018), current intern; Dr Stephen WONG (MBChB 2009), Department of Radiology, Princess Margaret Hospital and Mr Ka Tsun TING, Clinical Psychologist, Kowloon Hospital.

Dr Xina LO (MBChB 2005), President of CUHKMAA also joined to give her encouragement to the new interns.
