2 Introduction
This is an introductory course helping the participants to develop basic skills in writing accurate and effective English. The course is divided into three parts:writing essentials, essay types and particular forms of writing. Numerous examples are provided. Drills and ample exercises are included. Students are encouraged to actually write paragraphs and essays throughout the entire course so that a habit of writing good English is to be formed. This course also serves as a stepping stone for anyone who wishes to acquire the ability to write advanced English.
