The programme offers specialized knowledge and skills, plus work placement for students to work as qualified practitioners in the catering industry. Added by modules that enhance language and communication skills, students could either join the food service and catering management industry or articulate to the CUSCS Higher Diploma Programmes upon graduation.

The integrated curriculum equips students to bridge to Higher Diploma Programmes of CUSCS. Courses and co-curricular activities are designed to help students acquire understanding and cultivate maturity in their transition to college education. Tailored support is also available to enhance their learning and personal growth.
