In this participatory workshop, we will collaboratively explore the concept of ‘curatorial integrity’ in the context of Hong Kong, Mainland China and the UK. Marstine, Ho and Luan will offer up brief presentations that introduce examples of creative strategies for negotiating curatorial integrity in diverse cultural contexts. Together, participants will consider what these examples have in common and what we might learn from them. We will also engage in small group work analyzing case studies and the ethical issues that emerge from them. The workshop aims to introduce an ethics framework for decision-making concerning curatorial integrity.
