Application for College Scholarships (Term 2, 2021/22) (2nd round application)

Various College scholarships are now open for a 2nd round application. Interested students please submit your online application form and other required documents by 9 March 2022 (Wednesday) 5:30 p.m. Late submission will NOT be accepted.

 

Please submit your supporting documents via email to nac.sb@cuhk.edu.hk in PDF format before the deadline. 

 

 

1. Types of Scholarships and Eligibility

 

Detailed selection criteria of the scholarships are listed as below:

 1. Hong Kong permanent residents
2. Applicants need to submit a 500- to 1000-word article in Chinese commenting on a HK listed stock
3. May consider applicants' financial needs
New Asia 70th Anniversary Art Exhibition Scholarship 新亞七十藝術展獎學金  2  $10,000 Fine Arts
 3.0 or above
 1. Participating in summer study trip at overseas museums or exhibitions
2. Applicants are required to submit a proposal on their trips
3. Recipients need to submit a study report within one month after the trip
Ms. Chan Chit Yee Memorial Scholarship 陳哲宜女士紀念獎學金

 1. Submit an interview piece on local experts in a particular field (行業老行專) in Chinese or English.

2. How to apply

 

Applicants are required to submit an Online Application through the college webform system and submit a copy of the confirmation email with the below listed supporting documents via email to nac.sb@cuhk.edu.hk on or before the said deadline. Otherwise, the application will be cancelled.

^1 Submission of transcript is required. Unofficial transcript downloaded from CUSIS is acceptable. 

^2 Recommendation form should be completed by a teaching staff serving in the University. Please ask your referee to complete the online recommendation form by sending them the link with your name, SID and major. The form should be completed on or before the application deadline. 


^3 Required financial documents:

For students who have applied for government TSFS/FASP in 2021/22 - A full copy of your TSFS / FASP application 2021/22 which includes:

·         Acknowledgment or receipt of you application submitted online to Student Finance Office

·         Copies of income proof of i) your parent(s) and unmarried sibling(s) residing with you and/or your parent(s) or ii) yourself and your spouse

·         Copies of bank account statement of yourself and your parent(s)/spous

·         Any other relevant documents (e.g. Proofs of housing cost or medical expenses) you attached to your application

·         Any other relevant documents if there are any major changes in your family financial situation between April 2021 and February 2022.

  

Other students – the below documents of the applicant and ALL household members from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021:

·         Income proof (e.g. Income statement / salary bank transfer record / self written income statement etc.)

·         Bank account record/statement

·         Documents to show the rental payment or monthly installment of housing 

 

Note: If you are having difficulties in providing your financial documents of your household members, you may submit a self-written statement to us.
