Cheng Ming Award 2021/22

The Cheng Ming Award, the highest honor bestowed on New Asia students, is now open for application. All New Asia final-year students regardless of majors are now invited to apply for this award.
Selection criteria are as below:
1. Final-year students (including students graduated in Term 1, 2021/22) graduating with first-class honors (medical students are required to obtain the equivalent minimum major GPA and percentage distribution stipulated by the Undergraduate Examinations Board of CUHK), with outstanding extracurricular academic achievements;
2. Good conduct; and
3. Active participation in social services or outstanding leadership qualities.
Recipient(s) of the award will be given a certificate, medal and HK$60,000 scholarship. The scholarship will be evenly divided if there are more than one recipient.

online application form here. Deadline for application is Friday, 11 March 2022, 5:00 p.m. Applicants must submit confirmation email with their supporting documents via email to nac.sb@cuhk.edu.hk in PDF format on or before the said deadline. Otherwise, the application will be cancelled.

*Remarks:
(1) The recommendation form should be completed by a teaching staff serving in the University. Please ask your referee to complete the online recommendation form by sending them the link with your name, SID and major. The form should be completed on or before the application deadline.
(2) Supporting documents (Transcript, activities proof etc.) must be submitted via email to nac.sb@cuhk.edu.hk
(3) Submission of transcript is required. The unofficial one downloadable from CUSIS is also acceptable.
(4) Applicants have to submit the proof of participation in activities/social Services (eg. letters, certificates).
