The double peach design was first created in the Song Dynasty, and later seen in blue-and-white porcelain inkstone as well. Celadon glaze first appeared in the Song Dynasty, so it is reasonable to conclude that the inkstone was created at that time. The rating of pottery inkstone was no longer high in the Song Dynasty, so it was mostly used by the general public.
