Prof. Joseph Sung Appointed as Honorary Fellow
Prof. Joseph Sung was appointed as an Honorary Fellow of the College on 28 February, 2021.
Prof. Sung has been affiliated to the College for a long time and has been actively participating in College activities, such as mentorship lunch with medical students and S.H. Ho College Medical Society Annual Dinner. Besides, Prof. Sung also set up Joseph’s Book Club at the College. In each semester, he would select six books and discussed them with College students of different faculties.
As a renowned scholar in gastroenterology, Prof Sung’s contributions to the advancement of medical sciences and academic development have been recognized internationally. He is currently Senior Vice President (Health and Life Sciences) and Dean of Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in National Technological University, Singapore.
Established in 2012, the College’s Honorary Fellowships are to recognize and honour those who have made valuable intellectual, social, cultural and other contributions to the community and S.H. Ho College.
