Science advances the society, and numerous government and business leaders around the world are articulating the importance of preparing and nurturing students to progress in science-related fields. The way of learning science and the professional skills that are embedded in science programmes help develop students with life-long learning abilities and equip them with knowledge, skills and attitudes that are essential to be leaders of the rapidly changing world with ever-advancing technologies. In response to rising needs of the number of sub-degree holders’ pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Science, CUHK Faculty of Science accepted the first intake of students to the B.Sc. in Natural Sciences (NSCI) programme in 2014-15.
