Dr. Chui Pui-ling Alice, director (PAC Programme) in the School of Accountancy and assistant dean of Business Administration, has been appointed by the Secretary for Education as a member of the Appeal Board under the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance for two years from 1 September 2011.
Prof. Albert Martin Li, professor in the Department of Paediatrics, has been appointed by the Chief Justice as a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel for three years from 1 September 2011.
Prof. Chan Chi-fai Andrew, director of the Executive MBA Programme and head of Shaw College, has been appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as the chairman of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong for three years from 13 September 2011.
Prof. Sian Griffiths, Professor of Public Health and director of School of Public Health and Primary Care, has been re-appointed by the Food and Health Bureau as a deputy co-chair of the Grant Review Board and a member of the Research Council for two years from 1 October 2011.
Prof. Lam Ching-man, associate professor in the Department of Social Work, has been appointed as a member of the Women's Commission.
