Eight students from the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE) designed a prototype vehicle for rock collection, and won the champion at the Forth Greater China Design Competition for the second consecutive year. They are Yip Chi Yiu (4th left), Lee Chun-kong (5th left), Chung Tsz-yin (3rd right), Chan Tsz-fung (5th right), Cheung Ho-tin (1st left), Chan Yin-pok (4th right), Santo Royce (3rd left) and Kwok Ming-fung (2nd right).
Hosted by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Hong Kong Branch, the competition was held in the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, on 21 and 22 March.
