The other t wo finalists we re respectivel y f r om Ca n a da a nd the US. They we re ve ry smart obviously but those topics did no t seem to touc h them. I also realized that my vo c a bu l a r y wa s n o t a ny we a k e r t han theirs, my articulation wa s better. a nd mo s t important, I genuinely care d about those topics. Because I cared, I p a i d attention, therefore I knew, a n d h a d things to say,' she said . Two-time Scholar Some years ago , Jade w o n a Li Po Ch u n scholarship to study for two years at the Li Po Ch u n United World College. At the time too, it wa s not so mu ch her g r a d e s w h i c h m a d e h e r w i n , s h e b e l i e v e s , b u t h e r p a s s i on a n d h e r f a i t h f u l n e ss t o it. S u mm i ng u p h e r e x p e r i e n c e of r e c e i v i n g t h e t w o prestigious scholarships, she said, 'It's as if everybody go t together to help me ma ke my d r e a m come true.'
