Student Photographers Celebrated At Morningside
2016年3月22日
Every year Morningside hosts a photography competition open to all CUHK undergraduates. Winners were announced during a ceremony at communal dinner on Thursday, 17 March. Finalists from different colleges were invited for dinner, where they collected their prizes. For the contest, entrants were asked to submit photographs for one or more of three categories. This year’s categories were Refuge, Disruption, and Current. Overall, more than 200 photos were submitted, from students of all 9 colleges. 18 photographs were selected as finalists, including 5 by Morningsiders. The winners were decided by a panel of three judges: Professor Saskia Witteborn, a Morningside Fellow, and Josh Tam and David Wong, local photographers. The Grand Prize went to Yeung Tsz Yan (photo, 4th from left) of Lee Woo Sing College for his photograph “Refuge”.
