Dinner for Families of the Incoming Class cum Academic Awards Presentation

Students and their families gathered last Wednesday night for the annual Dinner for Families of the Incoming Class cum Academic Awards Presentation. In his opening address to the attendees of the event, Professor Sir James Mirrlees affirmed Morningside’s commitment to being a community for the passionate exchange of ideas, the exercise of creativity, and the cultivation of the self. He also encouraged students to pursue careers not for their material reward, but for the benefit they bring to the community and personal well-being.
