For the final Formal Hall Dinner of the term, Morningside gathered for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and a talk by Harvey Lee, who now manages Sloan Estate Winery. Students tried the classic dishes of the American holiday—turkey, mashed potatoes, and green beans—and heard about the value of opportunities. Mr. Lee, who has held a variety of positions within the financial industry and now works for a real estate firm, spoke of the joy of learning new professions. As Sir James presented Mr. Lee with a souvenir and students reflected upon the year over pumpkin pie, thanks filled the air.
