Final Formal Hall of the 2015-2016 Spring Term

On Thursday, 21 April, Morningside students and fellows dined together for the final formal of the spring term. The guest speaker for the night was Dr Josie Zhou, a leader in cultural conservation in Asia. She holds a DPhil from Oxford University and has worked with a number of conservation organizations including the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation. During her talk, titled "Cultural Heritage Conservation - Who cares?", Dr Zhou introduced to students a number of the world heritage sites in Asia as well as the future of cultural conservation in the region.
