Students Learn about UK Non-Profits at the University of York

This weekend, Morningside students left for the UK to participate in a short course at the University of York. Over the next two weeks, they will study and visit local nonprofit organizations, and think about service learning in the context of England. As a part of the College’s General Education course GEMC3001: Service Learning/Civic Engagement, the trip will provide students with the chance to reflect upon the relationship between their experience in York and social issues that impact societies around the world.
