Celebrating the Class of 2018 at the 84th Congregation Graduation Luncheon

At last Thursday’s graduation luncheon, Morningside celebrated the Class of 2018! The ceremony on 15 November began with an address by Acting College Master Professor Christopher Gane, who congratulated the students and welcomed their families into the college community. Prof. Gane spoke about the enduring value of a college education, and encouraged the graduates to stay connected to the Morningside community as they embark on their postgraduate lives. Two student speakers represented the Class of 2018: Sean O’Reilly and Krychelle Lo. Both speakers reflected on their experiences creating a tight-knit community at Morningside and how the international character of the college – from its students to its activities— has shaped their worldview for the better.
