Yeuk Nam completed her Master of Philosophy in Sociology and Social Policy at Lingnan University. Her research topic shed light on how an individual’s academic discipline influences his/her work-based learning (e.g. internships or practicum) outcomes and experiences. Her research interests are education, work, and community engagement.

Prior to joining CUHK, she co-founded a social enterprise serving (underprivileged) children with special education needs (SEN) in Tuen Mun. Apart from that, she received funding from the Chinese YMCA in hosting a series of interactive workshops on animal welfare.  She also had some experiences researching and teaching Social Gerontology.
