个人简介
锺一诺教授于2011年加入香港中文大学公共衞生及基层医疗学院, 他利用生物医学伦理和公平的视角进行研究,专注于对健康不平等的社会决定因素(包括贫困和健康、移民的健康、罕见病患者的健康)以及与老龄化有关的多病症和长期/晚期护理问题进行实证调查,并利用这些证据为国内外的衞生服务和政策提供建议。
锺教授是香港中文大学健康公平研究所的创办副主任,该研究所于2020年1月成立,由Michael Marmot爵士教授、杨永强教授和胡令芳教授共同担任主任。同时,他也是衞生系统和政策研究中心及移民和流动研究中心的创始成员、及生活质素研究中心的执行委员以及老年学研究所的研究员(礼聘)。
在国际层面上,锺教授是世界大学网络(Worldwide Universities Network)公共衞生全球挑战指导小组副主席,为全球23所国际研究型大学在公共衞生方面的研究和合作指引方向。2018年9月,锺博士被着名的美国国家医学院(National Academy of Medicine)选为其国际衞生政策研究员,在影响健康长寿的社会决定因素这方面进行研究。此外,他还曾在香港政府多个官方咨询委员会任职,涉及食物及衞生局的香港医疗衞生总开支账目和主题性住户统计调查。他亦参与了两个政府委托的,分别是关于老年/晚期护理和医疗资源分配工作的项目。另外,他还是一项医院管理局医疗援助计划的顾问研究的首席研究员,同时也曾接受香港罕见疾病联盟委託进行本地罕见疾病的研究。锺教授的研究还曾被中大通讯(11月第507期)用作封面故事。锺教授亦曾發表多篇文章,其中包括80多篇高影响力期刊的学术文章、书籍章节及顾问报告。
此外,锺教授还积极参与大学、学院、系所、校级服务以及具有相当影响力的对外社会服务 -- 他是香港生死学协会的副主席,该协会是一家整合了众多年轻专业人员的专业知识及理念,致力于创新香港的生死教育、预先设照顾计划、长期护理和善后安排的社会企业;他亦是香港唯一的生死教育电台节目《生命廿一克》的联合主持人。在2019年,他还合编了畅销及得奬书籍《生死教育讲呢啲》。在学术领域外,他还是一位屡获殊荣的着名音乐监製及歌手。
锺教授于2005年取得美国约翰霍普金斯大学(Johns Hopkins University)公共衞生学士学位及约翰霍普金斯彭博公共衞生学院 (Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health)衞生科学硕士学位,并于2011年取得香港大学公共衞生学院哲学博士学位,其博士研究课题为社会经济發展对人口健康的影响,此研究还获得了香港社区医学学院颁發的Presidential Award for Best Oral Presentation。
