Urgent HARNET Maintenance on 6 July (4:00 AM – 6:00 AM)

Cause The Hong Kong Academic and Research NETwork (HARNET) is the wide area network which links up the campus networks of the eight tertiary institutions (CUHK is one of them) in Hong Kong and connects them to the global Internet. The maintenance is scheduled for the service.
Service Affected During the maintenance window, the managed service provider HKT will monitor the internet traffic of HARNET. The Internet service will NOT be affected but the user may experience the slow internet response during the maintenance period.
