2022. 06. 01IE Students Won the 2nd Runner-up Award in the Barrier-free Campus Design Competition
We are happy to know that IE undergraduate students CHENG Sum Yee (Sammi) and MAK Ka Ling (Elaine) won the 2nd runner-up award in the Barrier-free Campus Design Competition for their Final Year project "IE for Better Living". They built an eye-tracking-based Chinese character input system to help people with physical disabilities for easier and more efficient communication. The project was co-supervised by Prof. Rosanna Chan and Prof. Pascal Vontobel.
