Open for Application: Founding Master Gold Medal for Graduating Students
Established by the College in 2014, this prestigious award each year honors THREE College graduating students who have demonstrated all-round performance throughout his/her University study while at the same time obtaining excellent academic performance. We are very pleased to announce that the Gold Medal Award for this year is now open for application. Selection criteria are listed below for your information:
The candidate(s) should:
- be full-time final-year undergraduate students affiliated to Lee Woo Sing College regardless of majors;
- Obtain excellent academic performance (attaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.500 up to Term 1, 2021-22);
- Have good conduct; and
- Demonstrate all-round performance in non-academic achievements during their studies in the College/CUHK.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a selection interview in May. The application results will be announced in June and each award recipient will be presented a certificate and a gold medal (donated by Prof. Joseph Lau) during the College Graduation Ceremony in 2022.
