非入学奖学金

任剑辉白雪仙奖学金由勤十缘慈善基金有限公司 (Qin Jia Yuan Foundation Limited) 捐助十万港元及于2015年9月5日所举行的”九五至尊筹款晚宴 An Evening with the Best of the Best” 所筹得的一百万港元成立，用以表扬在学业中达优秀成绩的和声书院本地本科生。奖学金的规章详细说明如下：

名额及金额

每年两位奖学金得奖名额 (每个名额HK$20,000)。

甄选准则

申请必须符合以下条件：

• 必须为和声书院之全日制本科生；
• 具优秀的年度学业成绩(Year GPA)达至少3.6或以上； 及
• 在香港中文大学在学期间积极参与课外活动及对和声书院作出杰出贡献。

行政程序

• 以公开形式接受申请。所有申请将由和声书院奖助学金委员会作考虑。
• 得奖学生或需与金奖捐助人会面及分享在香港中文大学的学习体会。
• 荣誉金奖由和声书院院务室依照以上规章管理及执行。

为庆祝中大金禧，大学于中央校园邵逸夫堂与润昌堂之间设金禧承泽园，以现有校友径为基础，连系九个书院及中央校园与研究院，划出校友关爱自然径，大众可沿径认识这翠绿校园。计划沿校友关爱自然径置放于树木或标示鸟兽数据的环保木柱上的铭谢牌。铭谢牌上除印有QR码介绍其物种或树木种类，大学将捐赠者的姓名刻于铭谢牌上，以表谢意。和声书院在此计划中获11位捐助人慷慨捐助共三十三万港元(每位$30,000)以设立香港中文大学金禧奖学金和助学金基金，捐款由2014-15年学年开始己投放于书院奖助学金上，以支持有需要的同学。奖学金的规章详细说明如下：

名额及金额

每年三个名额 (每个名额HK$10,000) 合共 HK$330,000。

甄选准则

申请必须符合以下条件：

• 必须为和声书院之本科毕业生；
• 具优秀表现或对宣传绿色生活及环境保护上作出贡献。申请者需于甄选面试时介绍申请人负责的已完成或正在进行的绿色环保项目。

勤+缘慈善基金有限公司慷慨捐出港币五万元作为书院非入学奖学金，颁予优秀的香港中文大学和声书院学生。颁发奖学金的规章详细说明如下。

奖学金名额及金额

奖学金名额十个，每个金额为港币$5,000，合共港币$50,000。

甄选准则

奖学金申请人必须符合以下条件︰

• 入读香港中文大学和声书院就读翻译系之全日制本地本科生；
• 学年成绩须逹到大学的平均积点3.3或以上；
• 在学期间于校内/校外运动比赛有优秀表现，或在此范畴获取专业认可。

行政程序

• 奖学金以公开形式接受申请，由和声书院奖助学金委员会考虑及甄选。
• 获奖学生须与捐款人会面，分享其于中大学习的点滴。
• 奖学金由和声书院院务室依照以上规章管理及执行。

李美莲女士透过香港中文大学于二零一五年举办的「九五之尊筹款之夜」，慷慨捐出港币三十万元成立「李美莲女士奖学金」，颁予优秀的香港中文大学和声书院公共卫生学院学生。奖学金于二零一五至一六年度开始颁发，规则如下：

奖学金名额及金额

奖学金名额二十个，每个金额为港币$15,000，合共港币$300,000。书院每年颁发两个奖学金名额。

甄选准则

奖学金申请人必须符合以下条件︰

• 申请人须为全日制二年级或以上的本科生；
• 亦为香港中文大学和声书院公共卫生学院学生；
• 参与大学或书院海外交流或实习计划；
• 其上年度平均成绩 (Year GPA) 须达3.0或以上；
• 学习和各方面有优秀的表现，具经济需要者获优先考虑。

行政程序

• 奖学金以公开形式接受申请，由和声书院奖学金委员会甄选合适得奖同学。
• 得奖同学数据由和声书院呈交捐款人参阅及记录。
• 鼓励获奖学生与捐款人会面，分享其于中大学习的点滴。
• 奖学金由和声书院院务室依照以上规章管理及执行。

香港中文大学透过二零一五年举办的「九五之尊筹款之夜」筹募教育经费，当中拨出港币一百万元成立「纪律部队职工子弟奖学金」。由二零一九至二零年度起，殉职纪律部队人员子弟亦涵盖在内，以表扬殉职纪律部队人员对社会的贡献以及支持其子女的学业需要。颁发奖学金的规章详细说明如下：

奖学金名额及金额

(A) 殉职纪律部队职员子弟

每个奖学金金额为全年学费，现为港币$42,100。得奖学生若保持良好学业成绩，可于正常修业期内按年续领奖学金。不设名额限制。

(B) 在职或已退休之纪律部队职员子弟

每个金额为港币$20,000，每学年颁发七个奖学金名额。

甄选准则

(A) 殉职纪律部队职员子弟 (暂未开放申请)

• 须为全日制本科生
• 申请人父或母必须为殉职纪律部队(包括医疗辅助队、民众安全服务队、香港警务处、香港消防处、入境事务处、惩教署、香港海关、政府飞行服务队) 职员之子女
• 得奖学生于正常修业期内可以按年续领奖学金，其上年度平均成绩 (Year GPA) 须达3.0或以上。

(B) 在职或已退休之纪律部队职员子弟 (申请日期: 2022年1月15日至2022年1月30日)

• 须为全日制本科
• 申请人父或母必须为在职或已退休之纪律部队职员 (包括医疗辅助队、民众安全服务队、香港警务处、香港消防处、入境事务处、惩教署、香港海关、政府飞行服务队)
• 首年入学申请人须具备优异入学成绩。二年级或以上申请人，其上年度平均成绩 (Year GPA) 须达3.0或以上；
• 具经济需要者获优先考虑；
• 所有书院学生均可申请，惟和声书院同学可获优先考虑。

行政程序

• 和声书院公布奖学金数据及接受申请，数据同时经入学及学生资助处发放
• 所有申请将交和声书院奖助学金委员会考虑及甄选。
• 得奖同学资料由和声书院呈交「九五之尊筹款之夜」筹备委员会主席梁凤仪博士参阅及记录。

为鼓励同学参与书院活动，和声书院校友会特捐助港币二千元，于2017/18学年设立非入学奖学金，颁发奖学金的规章详细说明如下：

奖学金名额及金额

每年2个名额, 每个名额 HK$1,000。 全年合共总额HK$2,000.

甄选准则

奖学金申请人必须符合以下条件：

• 和声书院全日制本科生;
• 积极参与书院活动或贡献书院事务；学生会及属会干事会干事或毕业班同学可获优先考虑；
• 承诺于毕业后加入和声书院校友会

行政程序

• 奖学金以公开形式接受申请，或由书院提名乎合上述资格的候选人申请
• 由和声书院奖助学金委员会考虑及甄选。
• 获奖学生或须与校友会成员会面或提交计划建议。
• 奖学金由和声书院院务室依照以上规章管理及执行。

Dr. and Mrs. Ti Hua KOO has set up experiential learning trip scholarships to encourage students to participate in short-term overseas experiential learning activities organized or recognized by the College to widen their horizon. Regulations governing the awards are detailed below:

Name of the Award

The Award will be named “Ti Hua KOO and Dorothy VEE KOO Experiential Learning Trip Scholarship” and in Chinese 「顧鐵華費肇芬伉儷體驗學習獎學金」

Number and Value

There will be up to 4 awards of up to HK$5,000 each individually.  The annual total amount is up to HK$20,000.

Selection Criteria

To be eligible for the Awards, candidates should:

• Be accepted in the College recognized overseas short-term exchange programmes, social service trip, internship or experiential learning programme to Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau or region of Silk Road and “One Belt One Road”;
• Have achieved an excellent academic and all-rounded performance; and,

Administrative Procedures

• The Award is open for application. All applications will be sent to the Scholarships and Bursaries Committee of the College for consideration;
• The awardees may be required to meet with the donor to share their learning experiences at CUHK; and,
• The Scholarship will be administered by the College Office of Lee Woo Sing College in accordance with the above regulations.

Dr. Ti-Hua KOO and Mrs. Dorothy KOO has set up scholarship to award undergraduate who have demonstrated excellence in serving the community. Regulations governing the award of the scholarship are detailed below.

Name of the Award

The Scholarship will be named “Ti Hua KOO and Dorothy VEE KOO Scholarship for Excellent Contribution to the College & Community” and in Chinese 顾铁华费肇芬伉俪奖学金 「卓越书院/社区贡献奖」

Number and Value

The non-renewable scholarship up to HK$20,000 each to be awarded each year. (depends on their contribution but not less than $10,000 each, the total amount is HK$160,000 per annum)

Selection Criteria

To be eligible for the Scholarship, candidates should

– Be a full-time Year 2 or above undergraduate student of Lee Woo Sing College;
– Have achieved good academic performance with Year GPA of 3.0 or above;
– Have made significant contributions to the College or the Community as follows:

1. Participated actively in college social service programme; or/and
2. Made outstanding contributions/ services to the College with their talents in sports, music, art and culture or special skills; or/and

3. Demonstrated a good record of community services (e.g. continuous & long service duration/ being a leader or organizer/ create great impact & benefit to the community)

Priority will be given to students come from financially disadvantage background under comparable achievements.

Administrative Procedures

The Scholarship is open for application or the College may nominate suitable candidates based on the above selection criteria;

• All applications and nominations will be sent to the Scholarships and Bursaries Committee of the College for consideration;
• The recipients are expected to help promotion and organization of College activities on community services;
• The scholarship recipients may be required to meet with the donor to share their learning experiences at CUHK;
• The scholarship recipients must attend the scholarship presentation ceremony unless under some unforeseeable or uncontrollable circumstances approved by the College, or else the scholarship will be given to the first alternate
