The Obligations Lab Asia aims to challenge conventional wisdom regarding the law of obligations with the ultimate goal to develop new lines of thinking so as to stimulate and re-invigorate related debates. It does so by engaging in innovative comparative research regarding different aspects of the law of obligations. It concentrates on the core private law areas of the law of obligations, i.e. contract law, tort law and the law of unjust enrichment, but also explores the relationships with other areas such as property law and equity and trusts as well as with public law themes. Special attention is given to the practical impact of doctrinal questions as well as the impact of new technologies.
