A. STUDENT DIVERSITY

The CUHK LLB (Bachelor of Laws) is a first degree for high school graduates. Our students are high achievers who have either completed their high school education in local high schools and international schools or have attended school overseas and wish to return to Hong Kong to take up their legal education here. There are also a small number of non-local students who have chosen to study as international students in Hong Kong. The diversity of backgrounds from which our students come enriches their learning experience.

B. STUDENT QUALITY

Our students are among the top performing in Hong Kong, and top performing in the university. We receive far more applications than places we have, and admit only about 80 students each year into the LLB. Competition is strong, and we select only the best students who are capable of benefitting from, and succeeding in, this demanding and prestigious professional programme.
