1.	Course selection/pre-assigned courses
	Some programmes may have already pre-assigned some courses and require students to select electives. Students are therefore required to select courses on CUSIS (Chinese University Student Information System).

	Some programmes may have pre-assigned ALL courses for their students and do not require their students to select any course on CUSIS. Students, however, may still check their tentative/final course registers on CUSIS.

	You may refer to GSO website at https://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk/download/2022_AddDrop.pdf to check if your programme requires you to select course on CUSIS. You may also check your enrolment appointments at ‘MyCUHK Portal > CUSIS > Manage Classes > Enrollment Dates’. Please refer to the section “Course Selection on CUSIS” on GSO website for details.

2.	Online Platform for Course Selection
	All current and newly-admitted students who have already obtained your OnePass/CWEM password, please login here to perform mock course registration during the Mock Course Registration, and perform course registration during the Course Registration and Add/Drop Periods.

	For newly-admitted students who have paid tuition fee, completed online registration but not yet obtained your OnePass/CWEM password, you may use the "Online Registration Login ID" and "Online Registration Password" to login here to perform mock and authentic course registration during the Mock Course Registration and Course Registration Periods respectively.

	For newly-admitted students who arrive or confirm registration after the add/drop period, they should complete an Application for Late Course Add/Drop (CS-2) and obtain the endorsement as required on the form before returning it to the Graduate School for further processing.

3.	Mock Course Registration Period (also named as Enrolment Validation Period)
	Students who are required to select courses during course registration period on CUSIS may perform a mock course registration (i.e., validate classes in shopping cart to check time clashes, fulfillment of requisites, and term study load, etc.) which will begin from 10:00am on 20 July 2021 (Tuesday) and end at 5:30pm on 23 July 2021 (Friday). Students are encouraged to make use of the mock course registration to get familiar with course selection on CUSIS. Please refer to point 2 above for the online platform applicable to your student status.

4.	Course Registration Period
	The course registration period will begin from 10:00am on 3 August 2021 (Tuesday) and end at 5:30pm on 6 August 2021 (Friday). If your programme requires you to perform course registration on CUSIS, please refer to point 2 above for the online platform applicable to your student status.

	Before the Course Registration Period, students are highly recommended to go through the section “Course Selection on CUSIS” to get familiar with steps and commonly used terms for course selection on CUSIS.

	Assessment type and delivery mode of courses in 2021-22 are also available at class note session of the teaching timetable. Students are suggested to go through these information in details before course selection.

5.	Course add/drop schedules
	Different programmes have different course add/drop periods. Please check the programme requirement at https://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk/download/2022_AddDrop.pdf and your enrolment appointments at ‘Enrollment Dates’ on CUSIS for details.

6.	Selection of course outside prescribed study scheme and drop pre-assigned courses
	If you wish to select course(s) outside your prescribed study scheme i.e., not appearing on the course list under ‘My Requirement’, please complete Form CS-1 and obtain approval as required. The form must be returned to the Graduate School by the end of the Course Registration Period (or respective add/drop period, as appropriate).

7.	Course register
	You may always check your course register at any time on CUSIS, except that your course register will NOT be finalized until Graduate Division’s approval (after the add/drop period). Please note that Graduate Divisions/Programmes may amend students’ course enrolment after course registration and/or add/drop period. It is important for you to check the course register before attending classes.
