癌症及纾缓护理科研专题小组的使命是透过发展和应用以实证为基础的科学知识,促进高质高效的癌症及纾缓护理实践。
小组的主要研究方向包括:
- 推动癌症及纾缓护理的知识发展和循证实践;
- 为南亚少数族裔制订有效的癌症预防策略和介入方案,并为癌症患者及其他末期病患者制订症状控制措施;及
- 提升香港市民对预设照顾计划和预设医疗指示的认识和接受程度。

Professor CHOW Ka Ming (Convener)
副教授
周嘉明副教授专注于研究癌症患者的心理社会照护和症状控制,尤其是妇科癌症患者的性健康护理。她早期的研究探讨接受妇科癌症治疗后出现的性功能症状,以及此等症状对患者身心健康带来的负面影响。周教授近年进行的多项随机对照研究显示,性心理康复和心理教育计划能有效改善这些患者的性生活和心理社会照护。周教授已于美国密歇根大学完成性健康辅导培训课程。

陈叶咏娴教授在癌症及纾缓护理方面的综合学术研究,对护理教育、临床护理、患者及其家属以至整体社会都有广泛的影响。她的主要研究领域包括癌症筛查、症状控制和预设照顾计划的推广。她的研究团队走入社区进行了多次大型路演,并出版了一本健康手册,积极推广预设照顾计划。陈教授亦运用概念构图法绘制了全港首幅概念图,以预测和了解市民对预设医疗指示的应用情况。

李浩祥教授对儿童肿瘤学研究有浓厚的兴趣。他进行了一系列有关儿童癌症的研究,包括癌症及癌症治疗对儿童身心健康的影响,以及为患癌儿童和癌症康复儿童制订心理介入方案并评估其成效。近年,他的研究团队进行了多项有关复原力的研究,旨在提升患癌儿童及其父母的复原力、心理健康和生活质素。

教授
苏帼慧教授的研究专注于加强南亚少数族裔对癌症预防及癌症筛查的认知。苏教授开展了一系列社区项目,包括制订多项计划以加强少数族裔了解癌症筛查的重要性,并教导他们如何获得癌症筛查服务。她近期的一项集群随机对照研究显示,以家庭为本的多媒体介入方案有助推动南亚裔长者参与大肠癌筛查。
助理教授
黄祖莉助理教授的研究专注于儿科护理及南亚少数族裔的疾病预防。她的研究发现,虚拟实境介入方案能有效减轻患病儿童在接受各种医疗程序时的生理及心理困扰。她近期的多项随机对照研究亦显示,多媒体教育介入方案有助于提高南亚裔建筑工人预防肺尘埃沉着病的意识;而由社区健康工作者主导的介入方案,则有助于提高南亚裔妇女的子宫颈癌筛查率。

助理教授
陈傲霜助理教授的研究兴趣主要是癌症预防及癌症筛查,以及建立癌症护理模式。她参与多项健康相关研究,探讨影响市民接受子宫颈癌和大肠癌筛查的因素。此等研究所提供的证据,有助于为需要筛查的少数族群制订适合其文化特色的介入方案。此外,陈教授亦就如何推动少数族裔女孩采取癌症预防策略展开研究,例如提高她们的子宫颈癌疫苗接种率。

助理教授
吴硕南研究助理教授专注于研究肾衰竭患者的支持性照护。吴教授在他的博士论文中分析了肾病患者常见的症状群,为肾病症状学提供了新的实证知识。他近期正进行多顶研究,运用拥抱希望和社会资本等创新概念,分析肾病患者的社会心理健康状况。吴教授具备混合方法研究的专业知识,并已于美国密歇根大学完成混合方法研究课程。
