The programme aims to prepare nurses for the provision of genetic counselling service in hospitals of Hospital Authority (HA) and other healthcare settings. The graduates will be equipped to take up the role of genetic counsellor for individuals and families with or at risk for a genetic disorder. This is a specialised programme designed for nurses with the specialties of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Oncology/Cancer.
