Biography

Dr. Wang is a research associate in the Department of Economics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He studies public economics, economic development and applied microeconomics, mainly focusing on issues about China.

Prior to joining the CUHK in September 2016, he worked at the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago as visiting scholar. He also served as senior research assistant with National Institute for Fiscal Studies at Tsinghua University.

Dr. Wang received both his B.A. in economics and Ph.D. in economics from Tsinghua University.
