The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is looking for strong candidates to make significant contributions to teaching in the related areas to computer science, computer engineering, information science, artificial intelligence, machine learning or data analytics.
Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree, preferably a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline; (ii) at least ten-year experience in undergraduate teaching; (iii) strong commitment to excellence in teaching; (iv) experience in curriculum development and/or contributions to innovative pedagogy; and (v) readiness to take up leadership role.
Duties include (a) teaching undergraduate foundation courses in computer science and related fields; (b) supervising student projects; (c) managing curriculum development and conducting quality assurance exercises for a university core programme in digital literacy; (d) co-leading a team of lecturers, teaching assistants and supporting staff; and (e) committee work and other administrative duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing from July or August 2022, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.

The Department is looking for an Assistant Computer Officer to work on the development of an AI-based platform (including back-end system and front-end applications), which involves system design, deep learning and data analysis.
