Introduction
"Allergy" refers to the excessive reaction of the immune system when the body comes into contact with some generally harmless substances, known as “allergens” such as dust mite, animal hair, mold, pollens and food. The severity of allergic reactions varies from person to person. Mild symptoms include itching, hives, skin redness and lip/face swelling; severe cases can lead to breathing difficulty, wheezing, dizziness, low blood pressure or even death.
Professional allergy test is the first step to assess the allergy problems. It helps to alleviate allergic symptoms by identifying the source of allergy, and to find the appropriate treatment pathway.
