Event Introduction |
Jointly organized by Chung Chi College, United College and Wu Yee Sun College, and co-organized by the Art Museum, “How I Work – An Art Exhibition by Professor Hon Ching Lee” is staged from October 3 at Lobby Gallery, Chung Chi College Administration Building. A renowned artist based in the US, Professor Hon Ching Lee is specialized in sculpture and printmaking. Early in the 1960s, Professor Lee went to America to pursue his studies in architecture and art in different universities, and then received the Master of Fine Arts (sculpture) in 1967. After that, he has been working in the art field for many years, including teaching art at University of Oregon and Rockford College, serving as the Director of the Clark Arts Center Gallery, etc. In recent years, Professor Lee has been actively involved in promoting art in CUHK, and has created several artistic sculptures for different colleges and units on campus. The upcoming exhibition will feature more than 20 art pieces, including prints, sculptures, as well as images showing the process of the art creations. Besides, there will be a session of “Meeting with the Artist”, while Professor Lee will share his artistic experience with the audience. |
