(1) New plasmonic nanoparticles (new materials, new shapes, new properties, new applications);
(2) Plasmon-(2D exciton) interactions (plasmon control, exciton control, valley polarization control);
(3) Plasmonic photocatalysis.
These projects are highly interdisciplinary. We aim at satisfying our scientific curiosities and creating potentially or practically useful technologies. We warmly welcome students who are interested in the topics above to apply for PhD study in physics or materials science and engineering in our group. We will have a Physics Summer Camp for the application of early admission to our postgraduate programs. Please click the links for more detailed information.
