Please be informed about the following updated arrangement of the final examination: (1) The examination will be held on May 4 (Wed) from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. (2) Examination paper will be posted in the course webpage (download area) at 6:30 pm that day. (3) The examination will cover everything except the field quantization topic. (4) Please submit your work by email to course gmail account before 10 pm May 4, 2022. Late submission will not be accepted. Your student ID should be clearly shown on the front page of your work. (5) This is an open-book examination, but you must work entirely on your own. The Department follows the University’s policy of zero tolerance on plagiarism and cheating in examinations. All cases of suspected plagiarism or cheating will be reported for possible disciplinary actions in accordance with the University regulations. (6) I will open Zoom (with the same link as online lectures) during the first half hour for you to ask questions. (7) Please also check your CUHK email that day. In case of problems of department web server, the examination paper will be sent to you by email (but this happens only when the course page server has problems). |
