About the Programme

The programme is a five-year full-time undergraduate programme for students who aspire to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education field. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, it aims to nurture students to be professional, creative and ethical early childhood educators in future.

Graduates will be eligible to register as

• Qualified Kindergarten Teachers with the Education Bureau; and
• Child care supervisors with the Social Welfare Department; and
• Child care workers with the Social Welfare Department; and
• Special child care workers with the Social Welfare Department (if graduates have completed the SEN related courses)

Graduates will also meet the academic qualifications required as kindergarten principals.
