Master of Arts Programme in School Improvement and Leadership
The programme is offered by the Department of Educational Administration and Policy and will partly draw on existing offerings by these Departments and the Faculty. Students will be expected to engage closely with other practitioners to apply their knowledge and ideas to their workplace and educational contexts. The programme will employ a variety of learning experiences, including traditional lectures, school visits, case learning, applied research (including action learning) and focused small group interaction.

The Master of Arts Programme in School Improvement and Leadership is a fruitful and meaningful programmes for teachers to reflect the methods to improve the standards of the school. 讀畢四個必修科SILP6001至SILP6004,當中学習十分豐富,理論與實踐並重。SILP6001幫助我了解学校改善的过程及不同的切入點; SILP6002幫助我明白不同的領導理論及反思自己的領導模式; SILP6003可以自製問卷,更校本評估學校的關注事項; SILP6004有机会去到廣州探訪国內小學,開闊自己視野,十分難得。
整體而言,學習的內容有助我在学校的發展。不过对不是中層的老師,也許应用性較弱;另外內容較集中在中小学,也需照顧幼稚园的同工的需要。
