Alan Cheng received his Bachelor of Arts in Economic and Social Studies from the University of Manchester, U.K. He completed his PGDE (English Language Education), Master of Arts in English (Applied English Linguistics) and Doctor of Education (Educational Psychology) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
He previously worked as an English Teacher for over ten years at a local secondary school, including four years as the Head of the English and Other Languages Key Learning Area.
He currently teaches the courses: Child and Adolescent Development, Psychological Development of Young Children, Adolescent Development and Psychological Development of the Child.
