研究興趣

我熱衷於在社區裡提升全人健康,提倡人權,並將研究轉化及擴展成為生活中的實踐。我的研究方向有三個,而它們都是互相連繫的。第一個方向是關於汙名(stigma)和降低汙名影響的研究。我致力透過了解汙名的內容及其背後的發展過程,從而消除它們。第二個方向是提升全人健康,我對一些以實証為本,用以提升全人健康的介入方法很感興趣,並希望利用現今科技來推廣它們,令更多人受惠。第三個方向是研究精神病的個人復原過程。我深信每個擁有精神病經歷的復元人士都有權,也應給予鼓勵去追求自己心目中認為有意義的目標,以及活出具希望及有貢獻的富足人生。

多元文化及全人健康研究室(Diversity and Well-being Lab)顧名思義有志於提倡多元文化,推動社會共融及提升大眾的全人健康。這個理念一直推動著我們的研究活動。除了研究工作之外,我亦聯同社會上的不同人士,包括擁有精神病經歷的人士、具心理學背景的人以及一些公眾人士,一起建立了「說書人」(StoryTaler )。通過共同創作和分享個人故事,致力消除社會大眾對精神病的汙名及提升公眾的全人健康。
