Before CUHK, I was trained in anthropology at London of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the UK, where I further developed my passion in studying local politics anthropologically and extended my regional interest beyond China to South Asia. My PhD research will explore women’s political engagement in grassroots Nepal.
