A group comprising of 45 students and 3 teaching staff from the School of Applied Science, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore, visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 26 March 2014.
At the beginning of the visit, Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee, Managing Director of the Core Laboratories of SBS gave an introduction on our School and the core facilities to visitors, followed by a guided tour to some Core Laboratories. The visitors were then arranged to meet with Prof. Chan Wai-yee, SBS Director, Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Associate Director (Graduate Education) and Prof. Fung Kwok-pui, Associate Director (Administration).
This visit laid down a good foundation for the School to extend our network with institutions in Singapore, which may help broaden the source of potential students for admission to our postgraduate programme in the future.
